Alternative Facebook app for Android?

I'm an avid user of Facebook on mobile, but almost every time an update drops it breaks something on the app and i have to reinstall it again.

What are you guys currently using for FB on Android?

Install the version you most comfortable with (use APKMIRROR to find it).

And disable auto update.

Or use facebook web.

Facebook lite, or just use Facebook in the browser app

But if you're using older app version, facebook will eventually forced you to upgrade.

Keep that in mind.

Other things you can do after updating the app is to delete the app storage and cache.

This will eliminate older incompatible data in the app.

I tried doing that but it doesn't work, it stays broken until i reinstall it.

Finding an older, better version would also demand some research, i've been having this problem since i picked up the phone in january, before that i had an iPhone.
