So i figured, with most games i'm measuring with afterburner cpu usage of 20 to 30% i might as well lower the highest speed to get some lower frequency stuff hoping to gain lower temps..

Did i do right with disabling precision boost or it this a critical feature?

XFR = auto Oc on ryzen. It pushes as long as there is headroom/thermal headroom.

why would you lower the frequency if you have thermal headroom.

What are your temps?

your cpu usage is low because it’s utilising the GPU for gaming

I'm trying to observe data as a waterstream.. the higher the frequency the more water is washed through the waterway.. i thought even with enough termal headroom if i decrease the highest frequence ( at 53 degrees 3900 mhz trottles to 3800 ) the water will flow more evenly

max temps are 55 degrees with a room temperature of 25 degrees more or less

I found piece ... atleast a piece of peace

installed the 1050 Ti
secured the boostclock
lowered game settings and managed to find a suitable stance
the measurements you see in the first picture are after an hour of play, did some battles , build some stuff etc
60 degrees for the gpu, 40 for the cpu and actually not to shabby medium high graphics for a 1080p 27" screen
I'm currently debating my choice for a new gpu though a 5070 for those cold winter days could enlighten my life in more ways then one
