Ethernet Port Solid Orange

SpassySpazz

Hello to whoever may be reading this, I desperately need help to fix my ethernet port issue. The lights on the left LED stays on and is orange. Even when the PC is turned off, the light stays on. According to some people online, the code and problem may vary for every motherboard, so I googled my motherboard's manual. But nothing came up about a solid orange LED on the left LED of my ethernet port.

Thanks in advance to whoever helps me resolve this issue.

i think that just means that your ethernet is plugged in, with activity the other green light should flicker

Samsung 850 EVO 240 GB

138 is a good number.

That's the thing though, the orange light is quite dim and there is no green flashes, regardless if I stick in an ethernet cable

are you actually getting connectivity, or are you just concerned about the light?
