Issues w/ Dell Inspiron 13 7375 2-in-1

Hey so I recently "fixed" my laptop after crushing the screen slightly and not eh accelerometer or whatever controls the rotation function in windows is all sorts of messed up. As far as I can see there is no option in the bios to disable it. So, I wanted to know if it is possible to disable it in windows because the keyboard keeps turning off and the screen rotates because it thinks it is in tablet/folded mode when it’s not. Alternatively, is it possible for me to just remove the module completely from the machine? Thanks in advance for you’re input.

if you're in windows 10, try going to settings>system>tablet mode

and disable tablet mode. that is the only setting I could think of that may help. There may be something else, but I'm not sure.

It only says "When this device automatically switches tablet mode on or off" there is no actual tablet mode settings. I heard that it's handled by the hardware, but I really need to disable it because the accelerometer is scuffed.

Hmmm. the only other thing i can think of is disabling the accelerometer in device manager (if it's even listed in there).

Hopefully somebody else here has another idea
