Hey! I recently installed a hw monitor to track:

FPS

GPU USAGE

CLOCK RATES

While gaming.

I just only realised my GPU usage is only 56% while gaming on Rainbow Six Seige Ultra preset at 1080p, TAA 100%. I get on average 137FPS. I was looking at benchmarks for the same settings and saw a guy reaching 200 FPS+ on my settings. His gpu usage is 97, while mine sits at 56. Is this normal?

He has a I7 7820x, Gigabyte 2080TI, 16GB DDR4 Ram

I have a I7 8700k, MSI Trio 2080TI, 8GB DDR4 Ram (would have 16GB one of my modules got damaged while moving house.

Any help would be appreciated as the FPS is utter garbage for what I payed. Thanks! ?

Did you use a different GPU previously? The first one can always do to ensure the GPU is perofrming as expected is DDU'ing in safe mode and installing the drivers fresh new.

Secondly 8GB of memory in single channel specially at a low frequency can be a true bottleneck to a GPU like the 2080 Ti.

Problem is definitely single channel ram. Even with my i5-8400 1080ti setup dual channel ram made a huge difference. From %40 gpu usage to %80+. And my cpu usage is same at the same time. Hitting %100 percent in both cases :) Waiting for ryzen 3xxx so i can upgrade.

I'd imagine it's your RAM, get ya self some dual channel and you'll be golden! :)
