I've got a MSI Z270 SLI PLUS.

To be honest, i dont want to upgrade this mobo, its barely been used and was surplus to crypto mining

The CPU i have is garbage, like G4400, its actually worth like 10 bucks, which is why I can't live stream.

My question is, can i put the 9th gen I7 into my mobo without issues?

https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/z270-sli-plus.html

something around this spec is fine. Im probably going to end up doing video editing too.

Suggestions pls!

not completely, but it requires some heavy (and dangerous) physical and microcode modding, i wouldn't recommend it

he suggests it as a cheap upgrade

the best you can get is either a 6700k or 7700k

8th and 9th gen doesn't work without heavy modification

Looks like this one https://www.amazon.co.uk/Intel-i7-7700K-QuadCore-Cache-Processor/dp/B01MXSI216

is there anyone 7700k with more cache or is this the top spec?
