I’m trying to install pop-os 19.0.4 using amd/intel (rx 560, ryzen 5 1600), I get an error msg “error creating  recovery partition: command failed with exit status: exit code: 23”. I have done it on both of my storage devices (120gb ssd, 4tb hdd) and the same error pops up for both. Any ideas?

@JuliusWMay I know how you did the installation? Every single setting if possible to remember.

I got what Error 23 is:

Quote

rsync error 23 is an I/O error. This could be caused by either a bad flash, a bad flash drive, or a bad disk being installed to. Most likely a bad flash

This is from one of the Pop!_OS developers. You should try reflashing the flashdrive with something like Rufus or Etcher (if you did not already). Also if that does not work try verifying checksums.
