You're looking at the QLC M.2 SSDs then, like the WD Blue SN500, Intel 660p, Crucial P1 etc.  They're NVMe (sorta).  

 

Does your motherboard support NVMe or SATA or both in M.2?

msi b450 gamin pro carbon. It supports both. Which is worth getting, wd blue or the intel 660p

NVMe aint worth it I got told, since it wont help me in gaming. In video editing it would be beneficial.

It won't be night-and-day... But if you can afford it, NVMe would be a nice-to-have.

The vergabe/advice is changed now... it used to be NOT WORTH IT, but it's more NO BENEFIT.

 

NVMe x2 drives are almost the same price as SATA drives, so there really isn't that issue anymore.  The true NVMe drives like the 970 EVO are still in the NOT WORTH IT category tho.
