Plex question

[Shadow clone]

so most movies have 5.1 audio but I only stereo headphones so will i be not hearing part of the audio or will plex play 5.1 in stereo?

I think it plays in stereo. I've never had any problems with stereo headphones.

It should convert the sound to the destination requirements so if it's 5.1 then it converts it to stereo. If I remember correctly

Movies support 5.1 audio. But when you rip them to the hard disk via MakeMKV, you should see audio tracks for 5.1 and Stereo, as well as sub titles and all that jazz. Because MakeMKV allows you to cut all the bull shit off the video files, so you can make the file more manageable.
