Budget: £950

 

Location: UK

 

What I want: Ill be going off to uni soon and want a small form factor (mini-itx build) pc that has a very low footprint but copes well with a range of tasks as well as gaming well.

 

It has to be:

1)small

2)good for high def gaming (running bf4, skyrim, dishonored, witcher 2 etc.)

3)good with adobe, aft etc.

4) quiet

 

Here's the build idea so far:

cpu: i5 4670k 

motherboard: msi z87i Gaming Ac mini-ITX

GPU: msi gtx 760 gaming itx 2gb

RAM: 1x8gb of corsair vengenace low profile ram    (will buy another stick later)

Cooler: corsair h60 closed loop cpu cooler

storage:  western digital caviar green 1tb (I have 4tb external hdd for work already) (for games only)

case:  silverstone ft03-mini

psu: silverstone strider st45sfg 450w 80+ gold sfx modular

drive: liteOn DL-8atsh slim slot loading laptop drive

os: windows 8

 

Monitors:

I have one 1080p monitor for this to be used for
