Galaxy S10+ 5G??

Go to solution Solved by Lurick,

AT&T has done this lovely thing by calling their 4G network 5Ge (5G evolution) to confuse people. They call it marketing but it's just bullshit trickery imo

Alright so this threw me for a loop. I preordered my Galaxy S10+ in ceramic white. Love the phone. My buddy, went to Best Buy and bought his off the shelf, a 128 GB prism black version. We drove through Chicago last night, and his phone said "5Ge" at the top whole mine was still 4g LTE. What the heck is going on here, because I thought the 5g was Verizon (which I have), and he has AT&T. And I know he only has 3 cameras so it's not the 4 camera 5g S10.
