The various news outlets have been sorta following this for a few days now, but other than the basics I don't know much about it. All I can gather is that they're rioting over recent new laws against protesting. I'm sure there's more to it, but since I don't hardly pay much attention to the news I don't have much more information. That and the fact that coverage seems to be a little sparse...

imo this was coming for a long time... not only the clash between the people and the government but also on the bigger scale, the clash between the west, EU-favoring people and the east, Russia-favoring people (the government's from the east).

 

I think it's good that they arose. You can't just let a problem sit there and rot and cause an even bigger one *cough America *cough

 

EDIT: also, the anti-protest laws are bullsh*t. The government themselves broke a couple of rules passing that sh*t.
