Odd Laptop Problem

Hi all, hope you're doing great.

 

Basically, one of the keys on my laptop started making a very strange sound when I press it. By strange, I mean that it is independent from the actual audio of the laptop itself (it doesn't come out through headphones or loudspeakers of the laptop).

 

The sound comes from the key itself, it resembles a high pitched hissing, almost like a short-circuit but I can't be 100% sure. It's not a beeping or clicking sound either.

 

The laptop model is an Acer E5-575G.

I was trying to record it and after pressing for about a minute it stopped...

On second thought, it's back. will record and post it here.

 

The key works flawlessly though, so there's that. Anyways, thanks for helping out.
