i7 7700 gtx 1070 - Low GPU and CPU usage. Help me pls

xxsniperlord68

I've been noticing a lack of performance in some games. I'd really like to be getting more fps as I have a 144hz monitor and actually want to reach 144 fps.

This has been getting really annoying and id really appreciate some help with this.

All of my drivers are updated and I already played around with the Nvidia control panel settings.

I already did the prefer maximum performance things on the power settings.

SPECS:

i7 7700

GTX 1070

8gb ddr4 ram

asus prime b250m-c/CSM

windows 10

500w 80+ white

some 500gb SSD idk

I've linked a video of how my rust performs and how low the GPU and CPU usage is.

It's probably just the game engine honestly. Since one isn't bottle necking the other.

exactly. probably some sort of ingame fps cap. (many games have something simmilar).

the reason that they do this is because the game physics are based on fps. (which is why the fallout 76 fps hack worked)
