Thanks! I totally forgot that Windows 8 was an option. I think I will downgrade the PSU because I realized that the system wouldn't suck up too much power.

The fan is for replacing the rather loud fan that's on the 120M by default.

You should set aside something for a decent cooler. 

 

I would choose the Hyper 212 over a 120/140mm AIO though.

You could make an amazing build for 1,000. But you need to find the cheapest prices, Try newegg, pcpartpicker, and amazon. The AMD FX 8350 is equivalent to an i5. But many pc builds with a 1,000 budget should have an i7 and a MUCH better dedicated graphics card.

Just No , An i7 for gaming or anything as a matter of fact is not good price/performance in a system under 1k dollars in any way.
