What resistor do i need?

Hi. Ive been trying to find the right resistor to replace this burnt one. Ive tried to search for a replacement but cannot find one. Could you please help me with finding the right one? What is the color code? Black, Brown, Green, Silver and Brown? or am i wrong?

It may be a 1.5 ohm 2W resistor

Your colour code is correct

Ive always read it 0.15 ohm. but i guess that its actually 1.5 ohm?

0.15 Ohm at 1% tollerance is correct

 

Black: 0

Brown: 1

Green: 5

Silver: x0.01

 

015 x 0.01 =0.15

 

Also on a side note: Why did it blow? just replacing it might not work unless you know what happend.

As far as i know it didnt get any air to breathe, or at least it happend when it got moved to a bad place with no ventilation around. (quite literally like putting it in a box)

 

 Its one of those big lamps for parties that flash colors to the beat and so on. We use it for a static blue light, to make things look pretty.
