Pic inside...W10 wont show available networks.

Yes, assuming the adapter is indeed working 

So I've been at this on and off for months to no avail. Hoping someone can shot me straight.

Other laptops showing 9 networks in the area. This desktop, just won't show what network I'm connected to (its stuck on 2.4ghz and not 5) or any other networks to chose, not even my 5ghz connection.

 

Can someone please squash this misery. Thank You.

It says it's connected to Ethernet, click on "Change adapter options" to check if your WiFi adapter is enabled or even there to begin with

@_Syn_ Yes, its connected via ethernet to the desktop. Its not even there (WiFi)....

Yeah there's no WiFi adapter, are you sure you have one connected? if you do then maybe you need to install drivers for it first
