Lenovo T460s Power light, no display

Hi, I have a Lenovo t460s that constantly has the power light on when it’s pluged in but no display. I also attached a picture of a chip on the board the looks a little weird. Thanks!

Try disconnecting and reconnecting the display cable from the board. If that doesn't work, plug the laptop into an external monitor and boot it up, then see if you get a display that way.

 

Side note: when working inside a ThinkPad (or any laptop, really), remove the external battery before opening it up and disconnect the internal as soon as it's open.

Aerocool DS are the best fans you've never tried.
