3 pin rgb header on 4 pin rgb mobo

hi

mobo: MSI z370i gaming pro carbon AC

This mobo only has 2* 4pin RGB pins. I bought some cooler master fans which i didnt notice only have 3 pins  (ARGB) and the one of the holes is blocked with plastic. So no way to insert it into 4pin.

Is there a connector that i can use to connect the 3 pins to the 4 pins?

no this will not work, the 3 pin connector is a dumb one that uses one pin for each color and one for ground.

the 3pin has ground, +5V and a data pin that requires a very precise bitstream to be send over that line in order to control the LED`s.

They are not compatible with each other.

You would need to get a 3 pin 5v RGB hub to do it. You can not adapt 12v to 5v in this case here.
