Why is ATX more Common/Mainstream than mATX?

That's okay, to me, I got value out of an ATX board by allowing the expansion of PCIe slots, that's simply my say on why I bought an ATX board. I don't care for logistics on which method of audio or networking is better.

These were my decisions and the ATX motherboard made them happen, it's as simple as that.

Also how about the new trend of GPU size, which they starts to get 3 slots. This will be dilematic for mATX cases and motherboards, no? While a few ITX case starts to get 3 slots.
