Hi LTT,

          I'm looking to sell My Acer Predator 15 gaming laptop specs below and I don't know what price to give it.I need some tips from you guys on what price I should give it.

CPU: Core I7 7700HQ

GPU: Nvidia GTX 1070 (8GB VRAM)

RAM: 16 GB DDR4

STORAGE: 256 SSD (no HDD Because of personal files)

Comes with the Frost core fan accessory and with a 3 year international warranty

$800 ~maybe~ just because it is a laptop. Also I don't think warranties are transferable.  You'd have to check with asus directly.

Also, add an HDD. You'll get more if the other person had to do less to get it working. Otherwise, they'll already want less than you offer simply because it needs an HDD.

I  have important personal files in my harddrive and if i wipe it it will degrade the drive.

Really? cause whe i wiped my drive one time and check hardrive sentinel the life percentage of it decreased

800 seems awfully low for a predator with an, albeit, older i7 and a GTX 1070.

It's worth 1,200$ or so honestly. 1070 laptops aren't getting much cheaper nowadays

The CPU is pretty outdated, I'm not gonna lie. 7 series was a long time ago, remember the mobile CPU platform releases separately from the desktop variants. But the laptop is worth 1,200$ and under.

256 gigs of SSD storage though? I wouldn't even think of paying top dollar for a laptop that's missing the HDD. Just wipe the drive.

He paid for a used HDD, there's no guarantee it will work fine, even if you're not wiping it.

Not for laptops, new 7th series still sold new today.

The 9th gen is pretty new.

9th is very new, I thought 7th was phased out a couple years ago though? I think you might be confusing it with the 8th gen since 8th gen is still being sold on new machines.

Damn that would be overpriced for a used laptop.  $1000 would be a great sell if he can manage to, but if someone wanted a new laptop with a full warranty and a newer cpu, I doubt they would mind paying $400-$600 more when theyre already paying >$1000.

Smh the cpu is nowhere near outdated no idea where you've got that idea from - You can still game on a sandy bridge I7 so, No thanks, My skylake CPU is holding up fine.
