What motherboard, CPU, and CPU cooler?

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

its a very old cpu, please do only mild overclocking.

performance gain is very limited, all you want is a working system over "not alot faster" and hotter pc.

I wouldn't really overclock an FX chip with that VRM, maybe see how high you can run at 1.35-1.375V Max, preferably with active cooling over the VRM, just kind of shove a fan over it.

no, its not at 100% it stays around 13%

ill have to check the temp later im cleaning my system out of dog hair, maybe thats the cause.

FX chips don't scale well with overclocking so the performance gains may be marginal. You can load up AMD Overdrive which allows you to punch in overclock settings on the fly. I don't recommend this as a permanent solution, rather, a way to test settings and see how it impacts performance.

You can also try setting your Windows power profile to High Performance, which disables downclocking on idle, as well as unparking your CPU cores. Read about that here. Unparking on Windows 10 is probably useless, but you can try it anyways if that's what you're running. If you're on Window 7 you definitely want to do this.
