Hey guys, I have a weird question. I got ripped off when I bought my pre-built computer and got a Radeon RX 560 2gb in it, as well as an FX-6300. I've since upgraded the mobo, the CPU, and the RAM, but now I need to upgrade the GPU. I've been surfing the internet for deals on a new GPU, but haven't really had any luck. Could one of you help me find a GPU that can get about 50-60 FPS in modern games at around $150 to $200? Thanks.

1080p? Maxed out settings or are you okay with dialing things back a bit?

Are you in the US? You would get more bang for your buck if you went with a used card.

yep 1080p, games like The Division 2, Fallout 76 (open world) would prob have to be on high, games like Rainbow Six Siege, etc. would be maxed out. I'm in the U.S, and if it could be new, great. If not, thats fine, just needs to work.

yeah, cool. But Amazon has its downside.

This used to be $210, and i was going to get this, but after a couple of days the price got jacked up, and it constantly keeps fluctuating. But, I will have the money in about 2-3 weeks.

like @alatron978 said a RX 580 or even a gtx 1060 6gb both would be very comparable.

you know, AMD will be launching new graphics cards in a couple months. Why not wait and see what's to come in that time?

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

Can you explain what VRAM is?

VRAM is the amount of RAM the card has dedicated for processing graphics. It is used for a variety of things, most notably for storing and loading textures.

I would recommend this card for your budget:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06Y66K3XD

It has 8GB of VRAM, and goes toe-to-toe with the GTX 1060 for a little less cash and more VRAM. It's god-awful looking and consumes more power/outputs more heat IIRC, but it will get the job done for you.

Intel i7 8700k | Asus ROG Strix Z370-I | NVidia RTX 2070 Super Reference | Corsair Vengeance Pro RGB 3600MHz x 32GB | Samsung 970 Evo 500GB NVMe | Samsung QVO 1TB SSD | Custom Loop | Corsair RMx 850w Gold | Phanteks Evolv iTX TG (modded) | Acer Predator XB1

Thanks everyone for your time and shared knowledge, but no offence, I might save up for this:

The other cards would work fine I'm sure, I just want to know I'm getting a quality new card. Plus it looks nicer...
