Hey all, the name`s Andy I finally got my dream post it the school paper. My dad has given me $1100 to get myself a system. I'm thinking a 1080p system that can edit light school videos and bylines play a little COD and SOT, Marx if possible.

Some of the forum mates says to go with a Vega 56 or a rtx 2060 either way works for me thanks for the help.

Basically this, unless you desperately need the machine now, just wait a couple months or so.

If someone has helped you out on the forum don't forget to give them a reaction to say thank you!

June/July, we'll know more at about an exact date and specs in late May when Lisa Su does her keynote at Computex.

If you can't wait...then here's a build including that vega 56 I mentioned in the previous thread:

You could go even further and sneak a vega 64 in there with a higher capacity power supply, but it's probably unnecessary so it's better off to save a bit of money instead.

Intel Quick Sync works with Adobe Premier Pro and is supposed to work with Adobe Premier Elements, but I can't confirm it. However, if it does, either now or in the near future, I would want to go with an Intel system so I could use it if available. I built a scorcher for you housed in a case with some RGB bling. I didn't include Windows 10 as most people are getting keys off the internet. Its a nice MB with a 10 phase VRM, upgraded sound with ALC 1220 codec, and plenty of USB 3.1 ports.

Pretty great pieces in this build, and a nice RGB case and cooler. OC ready, and could certainly pull off 1440p if you wanted a monitor upgrade in the future :)

They aren't like super tech, but with your remaining $42 you could grab a cool looking mouse and keyboard combo on amazon.

A bit of a cheaper cooler, will still do very well.

Higher clocked RAM.

A 7200RPM hard drive, for a bit better performance.

A Vega 56 instead of a RTX 2060 - it's around the same performance.

Cheaper case, and a power supply that doesn't have protections and transient response issues like the Focus.

An extra case fan is nice.

Initially I had higher clocked RAM, but I think it will only run at 2666 in an Intel B motherboard.
