Been looking into this for a bit and still having some issues, so hoping someone can help me out.

My goal:
Control all the fans/strips through software

Motherboard: https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/mpg-z390-gaming-edge-ac
Fan frame: http://www.phanteks.com/HalosDigital.html
LED strips: http://www.phanteks.com/PH-DRGBLED_CMBO.html

Im planning to use 4 or 5 of the fan frames and 2 of the LED strips. I just don't really know how to go about setting it all up. Someone was telling me all I can use is 3 fan frames because they each use 1 amp each. Is there a way that I can use up to 5 of them? Should I get some type of controller hub? I haven't ordered any of this yet, so I am open to other options.

rest of the build in case theres anything of importance in there.

You will need to check how much your 3 pin addressable header is capable of but from what you have planned that is quite a lot of lighting to power. There are powered addressable RGB hubs/splitters, this will however make it so they mirror each other and not allow for individual LED device control.
