Odd behaviour on new usb.

For the first 0.5 to 1 sec the write speed will be 25 mb/s, then proceeds to make this pattern, speeding up until 25 mb/s, then dropping to 0. I thought it might be some sort of caching, but I can't see any setting to turn that off.

It's a 32gb Kingston DataTraveler100. It's USB 3.0 capable, but I'm using it in a USB 2.0 port, could that be it?

Single file or multiple files? Windows shows peaks when it moves smaller files compared to bigger ones.
