fallout 4 speed up

so i got the fallout 4 game and it seems that it gets sped up whenever i have good fps. i have amd card and i dont want input lag. also is there a mod i can download also also i dont have fallout4.ini

Use Vsync to cap your FPS, some game engines speed up as fps increases.

 

Edit: After quick google search, Fallout 4 game engine speed is tied to FPS.

No offense, but gaming speeding up with high fps would be awesome anti-piracy thing. Forcing pirates to play with crappy fps as otherwise game is moving too fast.

How they would force pirates and not buyers?

 

Also, just limit the fps. And fallout.ini is hidden iirc, but you certainly have it, if you played at least once.

Idk how it is done technically. But you can read up how its done in other games. Actually done. Like in Game Dev Tycoon.

i have the same issue with monitor pg258 swift and an 5700xt gigabyte. What i have tried so far is put the highest resolution and ultra settings...damn that gpu is good and it does not solve the problem. So the next thing is increase my FOV setting in the (....Are we using windows or LInux???????) .ini file as stated in the bethesda site. The othe thing i wil ltry is (alas) put the hz of the monitor at least 120hz and then again set the correct parameter value = 2 in the .ini for framemax. I dont know what bethesda was thinking....we want to play not to become programmers....OMG!
