I am looking for a outdoor laptop for my company. So the screen must be as bright as possible (350+nits) and matte screen. 15 (most likely) or 17 inches and 1080p minimum. Battery should be at least 3 to 4 hours with a moderate load like playing an audio files. Weight should be keep to minimum. Budget should not be a problem but keep it as minimum as possible just in case. Prefer Dell or HP as company has preferred account but can open to other. Dont know if possible. Just got this task to find one.

I would go with the dell xps 13" this is because you can customize the screen size and you can customize the graphics power, this means that if they are just doing basic spreadsheet and word editing they could just go with the integrated graphics but if they are doing 4k video editing or something graphics intensive then you could go with the NVidia dedicated graphics.

Isn't the XPS line have glossy display? But then the XPS 15 product page said anti-glare.

Also is going to work in the sun in the summer. XPS has a tendency of overheating

That's why I suggested XPS 15 without dGPU. It can handle CPU only load quite well

Oh okay. And you wouldnt recommend the hp zbook? According to the spec sheet the HP screen can go to 650nits/700nits (depending on the models) while the XPS 15 only go to 400nits. The screen should be the priority. Cant do work if I cant see what on the screen but it does make a good excuse.

It's a good choice too, but more expensive. MUST get Sureview panel

Is company's money so they have a lot unlike me where I have so little. Anything under 1500USD they dont usually take a second look. But it seems the only prebuild one that HP has for less than 1500USD is the HP ZBook 14u G5, which is a 14inch
