Is this a Good and Legitimate Security Camera Deal?

Boomwebsearch

I was planning to buy a Wyze Cam Pan from Wyze's website store directly and then found this other site offering the same camera for around 1/3 of the cost. I am not sure if this is a legitimate seller or if I should suspect that it is a scam so I created this forum to ask.

link to Wyze's page on this product:  https://www.wyze.com/wyze-cam-pan/

link to the aforementioned cheaper retailer's page on this product:   https://atlanticsshop.com/product/wyze-cam-pan-smart-home-security-camera/

Hope this information post was helpful  ?,

Looks Legit at Face Value, but if you are skeptical, consider the following:

1. Is there any recourse be it a fake and how cumbersome is it for a refund?

2. Is the deal worth it and is there any other options for a cheaper or similar deal that look more legit?

3.Are there any established online documentation of this website?

So it might be okay, or maybe not. I'm not 100% sure but if you aren't comforted by its looks, don't risk it.

Actually Look at this reddit post, and possibly reconsider it all:

I see they sell on amazon also for a few bucks more. If your worried about return policy just buy it there. Amazons return policy is crazy easy.

I think that the page is not legitimate as it seems too good to be true, actually they appear to be selling at almost 1/4 the cost as with the shipping on Wyze's site and handling it would be around $40. Although, I am kind of tempted to buy the camera on this site because of how good of a deal it is. Saw that they immediately ask for my credit card information when I go to the cart and there is no buyer protection through PayPal or anything along on those lines. I have concern that the camera motor for tracking may be loud and get bad eventually, so I think that I will either buy the Wyze Cam v2 from Wyze's site or keep the Merkury Innovations Smart Security Camera which cost around $26.

Just looked at the Whois for that domain, they are using a whois shield protector, so effectively masking the actual domain registrar. They don't have any return address on file and the Reddit link I posted is full of people saying its a scam and to avoid it. Plus you'd probably get a warranty from Wyze if you bought it there anyway.
