Thunderbolt 3 and external gpu

Currently on the mobile version of the forum and I wasnt able to find the correct sub category so please excuse me.

 

Currently looking at running an external graphics setup and was wondering since egpus are bottlenecked by thunderbolt 3 is it possible to pair e.g. like how you can with ethernet cables for more bandwidth?
