I recently build my computer about a month or two ago and it would keep crashing some times after 10 min or it wouldn’t at all even after 5h sessions. The problem progressively got worse. I tried updating my graphics driver but to no avail. If any of you could give me some help to try to fix it that would be great!

I keep getting the amdkmdap stoped responding error when i look in my event log

Specs:

asus rog strix z390-h

i5-9600k @4.7ghz

RX 590 red devil 8gb

cosair ddr4 8gb @2666mhz

evga 650 watt psu.

samsung evo 1tb ssd

Try to use DDU in safemode and then install your GPU drivers. This might help.

I tried that already. The problem still happens. I tried it w/o my card and that fixed it but there was one problem. My games ran slow as dirt.

Revert to a older driverset instead of the brand new ones.

May fix your issue.

Best case:
RAM is shitty/unstable.

Other case is that the GPU might be one of the Dead on Arrivals. So you have to contact the shop and ask for a replacement.

It works off and on it seems to be a driver issue. I either get shit fps or it crashes every 5 seconds

...wich points to a HARDWARE issue, not a driver one.

Your GPU seems to be only partially working.

pls stop believing those people that claim that AMD driver don't work. They are wrong.

With what you are describing something is wrong on the Hardware end.
