What should I replace them with to get an equally powerful and high fidelity sound?

https://www.amazon.in/Audioengine-Premium-Powered-Speaker-Black/dp/B005OA3BSY Holy Shit 60k INR in contrast to this 300 USD Amazon USA pricing. Almost double the price. I'm sure even if I import it from US it'll be wayyyy cheaper.

Still looking for you here, this is very close to your budget, a little over but this is a pretty awesome combo.

Yamaha Amplifier, 2x 125 watts @ 8OHMS, 2x 160W @ 6OHMS (trust me watts is not all that important but it is good to know when pairing speakers with it)

https://www.amazon.in/Yamaha-R-S202BL-Stereo-Receiver/dp/B01EMQI2CU/ref=sr_1_203?keywords=amplifier&qid=1555775548&rnid=976420031&s=electronics&sr=1-203

https://www.amazon.in/Taga-Harmony-B-40-Bookshelf-Speaker/dp/B07DH9QKDF/ref=sr_1_6?keywords=bookshelf+speakers&qid=1555773694&s=electronics&sr=1-6

Speakers are 6OHMS 140W rated at 88DB, these will play decently loud.

I will continue to search.

But if you like bass i would get the swan M50W's because they have tweeters and mid ranges rather then full range drivers.

WTF ??! HiVi !?!? ?

How about this now? Sorry for the tower though. I'll shift it to right side of my desk on an elevated platform slightly above the floor tomorrow. I'm exhausted af ?? now after shifting those gargantuan audio fountains to my bedroom!

Mine tops yours, 25 pounds!

They have definitely come a long way being able to cram so much in and even drop the weight a bit.

Mine is a class A/B amp i believe.

Mines class D but i dont even use the inbuilt amplification lol. A/B is much heavier and less efficient then class D but i still love class A amps, they sound more "normal" almost, less harsh and much more forgiving

Well I got ya both beat 41lbs and sounds oh so fantastic paired with my B&W DM330's

Those transformers.. ?

LTT's Resident Porsche fanboy and nutjob Audiophile.

Main speaker setup is now;

Mini DSP SHD Studio -> 2x Mola Mola Tambaqui DAC's (fed by AES/EBU, one feeds the left sub and main, the other feeds the right side) -> 2x Neumann KH420 + 2x Neumann KH870

(Having a totally seperate DAC for each channel is game changing for sound quality)

Holy SHIIIIT! Awesome from a bookshelf standpoint ??. I think I might end up getting a B-40. Edifier 1850db and 2000db have in-built amps but 2000db slightly dearer than the B-40s and I think B40 might be performing greater than 2000db especially in the lower end. Even if I buy a decent amp for B-40 for <5k INR, will I be having a perfect system surpassing the Eddies under 25k INR?
I watched these videos to help me decide b/w the two Eddies and I think they both get defeated by the Azure B-40. So what do you guys think which one should I get? I'm also a basshead along with love for purist sound.

This is why i have faith in Denon now, i took mine apart and got greeted with what looked like a traffic jam in a busy intersection with some monstrous sized capacitors and power delivery... To say the least these amps deliver their power is most likely a big underestimation.

I do wonder if Denon underrates them to ensure quality, i have been watching a guy who benchmarks car audio amplifiers and it seems that higher quality grade amps definitely deliver more, some times mind blowing more than rated power.

AVR 1906 guts... it's pure porn.

☺️ Was going through basics lately:

Well this tutorial is really interesting. I mean I went through all the electricity basics in my school and engg. college but when it comes to practical applications into the speakers, I'm a total beginner in that.

Aslong as the amp has the same impedance or lower impedance then the speakers your good, and aslong as the amp aint like 1000 watts a channel and the speakers are like 20w youll be good xd
