charity format

So I have been thinking of doing a photography compaction with my dad to see who is the better photographer. He has a Facebook page that has 18000 likes on it as a local Montana page. i figured doing a competition to raise money for a local charity would be fun. i was thinking people donate to vote or buy votes or something and the money is given to charity. Hes not so sure people are going to donate to that kind of fund raiser and i don't know how i would go about doing it. how would i set something like that up and do you think its a good idea? Should I maybe get other local photographers to join in?

Have you considered an entry fee?

thats an option too but the big thing is i need a way for people to vote for pictures and such and the reason i started thinking about it is my dad wanted to compete with eatch other with just the two of us, i just figured we could try and do something good wile we are at it.

I’m not too sure many people would be willing to pay to vote, but that’s just my opinion.

your probably right but its a local thing so not too many photographers out there either.
