Cablemod Vertical GPU doesn't work with Dark Base 700

I bought the Cablemod vertical GPU mount so I could mount my Asus Strix 2080ti vertically in my case, which is a dark base 700. When I tried to put it in, it would not fit in the pci-e brackets. The screws included with the case did not work with the vertical GPU mount either. If you have an answer to what could possibly be happening please reply.

@Broyojo it should fit in that case - that is actually one we have tested and other people have used as well. Can you email Matt@CableMod.com some photos of your installation?
