Which laptop should i buy?

Hello all. I'm new here. I'm planning to buy a new laptop, online. The laptop is for the CEH course i'm studying. The laptop i need must be atleast 8gb of RAM and core i5 8th gen. The budget is $720. I need a laptop that must handle games smoothly. Atleast in medium settings. I found four laptops. One is ASUS X507 (X507UF- EJ101T). Second one is ASUS F570 (F570ZD- DM226T).Third one is ASUS TUF FX504 (FX504GD-E4021T). And the fourth one is Acer Nitro 5 AN515-42. I'm from India, btw..

55000/- INR maximum. No preference in weight. Battery life can't be avoided. Need atleast 5-6 hours or more battery life.

Getting decent battery life and a laptop that will be able to handle games in medium settings in FullHD for that budget will be quite tough. I know some options, but they are all above budget.

No, i mean 5-6 hours for normal usage. Like browsing, watching movies and stuff. I'm new to laptops. I'm so confused with the processors and gpu's.

Still very difficult due to the nature of gaming laptops

Acer Nitro 5 Ryzen should be the only 'good' choice, although not ideal due to your tight budget

I already told you that for the stuff you want and the budget you are willing to spend, you won't be able to find a laptop that fulfills everything unless you find an extremly good offer. So there isn't a whole lot we can do for you.

Ok then, just don't mind the battery. Which one do you recommend?

Definitely avoid the first one, with an MX130 you won't be able to do much gaming. The GTX 1050 should be able to do 1080p at low on most modern games, but it is still not a very great experience. I would try to go for at least a 1050TI, you might be able to find something within budget.

I don't know anything about that processor. For the course I'm studying, i need a laptop which has a core i5 8th gen. So, is this enough?

You could try finding the Lenovo Legion Y520 with the TI variant, it should be cheap enough right now. Only downside, it does have a 7th gen i5. The newer version, the Y530, is too expensive for you budget.

Can GTX 1050 handle Battlefield 1? I mean it's a AAA game.

The gaming is secondary for me. Primarly it's for my course. The processor needs to be i5 8th gen or equivalent. So, is this enough?

U - ULV: low power CPU, lower clock speed with 15W TDP (will pull higher than 15W under load)

H - high performance CPU, higher clock speed with 45W TDP (will pull higher than 45W under load)

I definitely need a high performance cpu. But it has to be in budget

The problem is there aren't any good models with CFL-H CPU in your budget. R5 2500U should be decent enough
