Linux wont install

I'm a beginner to linux, so I dont know much about it, but I've been trying to install xubuntu and it wont install, just gives me errors, then stays there. I used balenaEtcher to burn it to a 4gb USB. The first picture is when trying in legacy mode, and the second is when trying in UEFI mode.
