I've been looking at different components and I'm starting to finalize the choices for my first build, but it would be great if anyone could give their opinion on any changes that should be made.

I was originally going to make an ATX system, however I really liked the appearance and size of the 350D, so I changed my motherboard for the MSI Z87M, mainly for its good reviews and its very nice matte black pcb.

For the entire build my budget is around $2,200, and it is going to be the first computer I have built myself, so any tips on how to go about building it would be greatly appreciated.

Huh....I have no problems with that build at all. Well done :D

As for tips, just make sure to do a "dry run" outside of the case first to make sure everything works. If you have a dead part and only notice that AFTER you closed everything off and ran your cables you're gonna be cursing. Just use the motherboard cardboard box as a platform and hook everything up to see if it all runs.

Case: Meatbag, humanoid - APU: Human Brain version 1.53 (stock clock) - Storage: 100TB SND (Squishy Neuron Drive) - PSU: a combined 500W of Mitochondrial cells - Optical Drives: 2 Oculi, with corrective lenses.

Thanks!

Also, do you think the stock 140mm intake fan and 120mm exhaust will be adequate cooling for this build,

(I will be adding some small overclocks to the cpu & gpu) or should I get a few more aftermarket fans?

The case has room for 5 fans total, which is plenty of expansion room. I'd wait and see how it runs with the stock fans. If they run loud or you'd like to get temps down a little, then consider getting one or two extra fans. You shouldn't need to in theory, but it can never hurt.

Also, I don't recomment wireless for gaming, that's why you should use a wired connection, and because you won't be able to add any wifi adapter if you will get those two 290's :3

What kind of dollars are you using?

The psu is overkill. A decent 500-600w is already plenty.
