Nvlink same card ( two different brand)

Hey guys just wanna know  can I use two same cards of different brands with nvlink 

 

Like rtx 2080ti asus

Yeah, but it will run at the speed of the slowest card. 

 

 

Also doing SLI is silly as there isnt anything to really gain other than slight performance increase in some titles and general performance issues.

because that's how sli, nvlink, dram, about everything in a pc works. to be working together it has to run at the same speed
