Best 2 player games (w/spouse or whoever)

brettfog

Why is there there no good games like qauntlet being developed for pc or console games. My wife and I loved these style of games that were great for hanging out with friends or small parties (drunken smoking parties) The last good 2 player co op was halo or resident evil and all the following sequels.  what are you thoughts or maybe stuff that is out that I don't know about???

So many of us gamers are single and have no friends :( its like making a birthday cake for a corpse.

Borderlands 1 & 2

Army of two isn't bad

50 cent : blood on the sand is a hilarious and well rounded co-op game, which surprised me, unsure if it was released on PC though.

#!

Portal 2 Co-Op

Burnout Paradise (although I only played it on 360, not sure if multiplayer is any good on PC)

Doom (1 & 2 at least) Co-Op and deathmatch
