Test it?

I don't have it yet, its coming in 1 to 2 weeks since its custom built, I'm just asking incase it isnt good enough, then I can either adjust CPU or buy a new cooler before PC gets here, because I don't want to wait even longer.

Did you choose the H60 or was there no choice?

Anyway it might be fine at stock? Depends on if the motherboard runns it at stock or not though

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

Should be okay at stock I think? really cannot be sure until it's tested, but you can definitely get the PC running and probably playing games comfortably, but I don't know how it would fare under heavy workloads, so you will have time to buy a new cooler if the H60 is not enough

here's a program to check temps and everything for when you get the PC

Didnt really get to choose. The site where i bought it from was sold out on the higher tiered coolers and i needed to get it soon since my dad was willing to pay for it if it was quickly bought. Also if the motherboard doesnt run it on stock, is there a way to change it

putting less stress on the GPU means more stress on the CPU, but it depends on the FPS ofc, because the more FPS you have, the more CPU usage you'll get

so, i should let my gpu do more work to even things out? i have a 2080 so pretty sure it can handle it, as for fps i always limit the fps to 160 as its just above my refresh rate

160FPS might stress your CPU more than you think, but again that's assuming the H60 can't handle the 9900K at full power, but I actually do not know, so when you get it, stress it with AIDA64 or something similar and check temps, and you can keep HWinfo in the background while you play games and you can check the maximum temp recorded.
