I'm currently studying IT, and at this time we're entering the part where we share internet connection between different virtual machine, which runs different operating system. My labtop only has the single LAN card, and from my understanding I should probably purchase an external network card. I just have no idea what I'm looking for to be honest. Can someone point me in the right direction, or even better, suggest some models I can then purchase? Or is there perhaps some other stuff I should take care of first?

Thks!

In my experience using VirtualBox i just bridge the internal ethernet port on my pc and it shares the internet to a vm with an ip from my home router
