Will I need extra fans?

or do you recommend to do it now?

You can oc and see if you need more cooling before buying more fans.

I am planning to buy the NZXT S340 and am not sure if I need fans. I am not looking to overclock so is it recommended for me to buy 2 fans for the front of the case?

If I do buy some fans, will I need fan splitters for all of the fans? If so how many? Also, I forgot to mention that my motherboard will be the Gigabyte B450 AORUS M Motherboard (micro atx) so will I need extra fans and/or fan splitters?

Sorry I am a noob at pc's and this will be the first pc I have ever built

Thanks :D

Gigabyte B450 AORUS M

it has 3 fan headers, 1 already used by cpu. it enough to add 2 extra fans.

from product webpage , 2 fans are included , shall be good enough for cooling

Top: 1x 140/120mm (1 x 120mm FN V2 Fans Included)
Rear: 1x 120mm (1 x 120mm FN V2 Fan Included)

S340 comes with one fan at the back and one at the top, you can remove the fan at the top and move it at the front and that should be okay i guess? but i do recommended to install 2 fans at the front to keep your thermals low.

You do need a Fan Splitter because I can only see 3 Fan Headers and one of them is for the CPU fan

The S340 is pretty old and out of production. You might want to consider the successor: H500 (not the i version). Difference is probably just $10. It comes also with two fans included. More fans can make your case stay cooler and ultimately be quieter. Two fans should be sufficient though to handle most systems but temps could be higher.

I would just put 3 extra fans on the front.... bottom center and middle to let that air really go flowing... It doesn't matter if your planning to OC or not if your planning on gaming a lot then you should consider that modern gpu's and cpu's tend to get very hot very soon

The stock case fans should be enough for cooling already. You can always test for temps before deciding on whether or not to buy new fans.

Nope. The two fans included are rubbish, and the stock cooling with just two exhausts is really poor. This is just bad advice. Ideally, you want two intakes at the front, then the two exhaust fans. But, replace them, as NZXT make some of the worst fans ever produced.

FYI, I actually own the S340 Elite.
