B450-a Pro has better components, X370 Pro4 has more features like RGB header (not because of chipset, but different board design). I'd go with the B450A Pro all the time, but not everyone agrees

So I'm about to build a new PC and I noticed MSI B430-A Pro and ASrock x370 Pro4 is around the same price.

I'm not an enthusiast, I'll use my PC mostly for gaming and 'office' work. Which one should I buy?

Buy one of the Gigabyte Aorus B450 boards, they have the best VRM for the money

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

The B450 is better, as it offers the latest boost support.

Check the B450 Steel Legend, just recently announced, looks pretty solid design.

What country?

The minimum recomended board is the B350/B450 ASrock Pro 4

the X370 version is the exact  same but usually higher priced

The gigabyte boards have the fake doubled VRM, and in the US are only $85 right now
