How fast do you think the GTX 880 will be?

legend8887

Also, I know it's overkill for 1080P but it's good to get it if you plan on upgrading to 1440P.

That's why I asked what you THINK. Learn to read.

There is no information to form opinions on.

"M. Aronnax." replied the Canadian, "your arguments are rotten at the foundation. You speak in the future, 'We shall be there! we shall be here!' I speak in the present, 'We are here, and we must profit by it.'"

We can't tell. I'd say it could do 4K high no AA at 45 FPS.

Whoa, harsh... If I were to take a shot in the dark, close to 40, 50% faster than a 780? At least what I have noticed with Nvidia recently.

and I said, we THINK it will be as fast as a GTX 880! who knows!?

I think it'll be a little bit of a step up from the 780 Ti. Maybe even a little bit more

780 + ~15 to 20% performance increase and maybe some new features we don't know about. The 780 is currently a beast at 1440p, mine is able to push an excess of 70FPS in any game maxed out (excluding AC4 cause its shit) so I'm guessing that it will be more along the lines of 4k.

My System Specs: (Short list) i7 4770k, GTX 780, many SSD's, a 2 TB HDD(deceased :( ), Corsair 650D. Full list: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/kchriz6097/saved/8dh7YJ

Upgrade Plan: Acquire some Black Noctuas then add 16 or 32GB of 2133MHz memory

GTFO.

Would you stop acting like a six-year-old? Nobody has any proof to validate any alleged statistics, so you may as well disregard anything you think the 880 will be like.

"M. Aronnax." replied the Canadian, "your arguments are rotten at the foundation. You speak in the future, 'We shall be there! we shall be here!' I speak in the present, 'We are here, and we must profit by it.'"
