is wemineltc pool good for mining

first time litecoin miner and I found wemineltc had a useful tutorial and I was wondering is this site safe for mining, I mean it is recommending to download a .bat and put it in my cgminer file is this safe?

Its completely safe but if you still dont trust it you can make one by yourself by looking at tutorials

It's safe but I would pick a different pool, WMLTC has 25% of the Litecoin miner traffic.

Start up CGminer with the parameters in the .Bat file

Cause GUIminer has a gui is more Noob-Friendly but it doesnt have as many monitoring features as CGminer
