By switching to other browser, upgrading your hardware or checking what kind of plugins and extensions are running?

Try an incognito window. Shouldn't use any plugins or extensions. If it's still really high cpu usage it's probably your cpu. I have the same issue here at work, i5-6300u. It will run up to 70-90% usage when playing a 1080p video. 

Make sure to Mark solved, makes it much easier for someone who finds the topic with the same problem to find the solution!
