SSD weird benchmarks!

Hello, people, I think this is the best place where I can get some help.

 

I am dealing with some 4k write speed issue with both my primary m2 nvme Samsung 970 evo 1tb, and my Crucial mx500 2tb

It looks like only 4k results are affected.

 

Out of curiosity I then ran the same bench in Windows Safe Mode, and it looks alright!!!

I'll attach both benchmarks (nvme on the left of each screen of course, crucial on the right)

My BIOS, ssd drivers, firmware are all up to date.

 

cpu intel i7 8700

32gb ram 3000mhz

 

In your opinion what should I be looking for to sort this out? I believe my issue comes from a software related source?!

Something is hogging your disk, that doesn't launch in safe mode.

yea, I just don't know what could it be and what should I focus on. Could it be every kind of software or only something drivers related?

I had some small improvement switching my power saving mode from "high performance" back to "balanced".

 

Makes no sense to me, but the performance is not  there yet
