So today i booted up my PC and noticed my pump was making an odd grinding sound.... So i cycled the power switch on/off a few times and the sound has lessened but not totally gone. Is it possible my pump is already going out? My liquid cooling setup is only maybe 6 months old. I bought the kit initially as a start up thing and had planned on upgrading to a full arcyllic pump/red combo in the future but atm i am waiting on 7970 prices to drop back down so i can get a second one... Should i just keep cycling the system on/off or see if it fixes itself? Or do i need a new res?

These pumps are know to "grind". You will need to RMA it. If you get as new pump get a Laing pump as they have an MTBF of 5 years.

Wouldnt i have to take apart my entire setup to RMA since i got it as a kit?
