Need help for a Good digital art/gaming build

Kokomo

Hi

I am currently looking at getting parts for a new build. I currently have a gtx 1070 and a i5 6500 with 16gb ram recently is been running pretty slow so the reason for a upgrade. I mainly use my pc to draw by using photoshop, and sometimes have a fair amount of layers. And I like to game as well and would ideally like to have 60fps stable anything above is better but not necessary. My budget would be around £1200-£1500. I don’t need a monitor or keyboard mouse etc and have windows and my current case is a s340 elite but will change if needed. I would  like to get a 4K monitor later on in the year or at least a good 2k screen which is fairly accurate. I’m not really sure which parts to go for especially for the art side of things.

Any help is greatly appreciated

I don't see how that would start getting slow unless you don't have an SSD. If not, BUY ONE NOW

Photoshop does better with a few faster cores rather than more slightly slower ones.

The RTX 2070 fits the budget and will do a good job up to 2K.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

It sounds like a software issue. Have you tried reinstalling Windows?
