I am thinking of changing up the storage drives in my PC. Right now I ave two 500GBs, one from a older laptop drive and one WD blue drive. I have an SSD for my boot drive, and now am stuck at trying to decide between WD Black or Green drives. Any recommendations or reason to go wit one over the other?

I prefer the Seagate drives to WD Green, and the Black drives are a bit too expensive for what you get.  I'd go for Seagate.

Green isn't so much the best but it's a definite winner for lower power consumption. WD Caviar Black hard drives are widely regarded to be one of the top hard drives you can buy performances wises but they sometimes are regarded also to be very expensive.

Seagate is an optional choice in the consumer grade hard drive market.
